📖 Arabic Ayah
أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فِيهِ ظُلُمَاتٌ وَرَعْدٌ وَبَرْقٌ ۖ يَجْعَلُونَ أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِم مِّنَ الصَّوَاعِقِ حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ مُحِيطٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ
📌 اردو (ترجمہ + تفسیر)
ترجمہ:
یا آسمان کی بارش کی مانند جس میں اندھیرے ہوں، گرج ہو اور بجلی ہو۔ وہ لوگ کڑک سے ڈر کر موت کے خوف سے اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں ڈال لیتے ہیں، اور اللہ کافروں کو ہر طرف سے گھیرے ہوئے ہے۔
تفسیر:
اس آیت میں بھی منافقین کی ایک مثال بیان کی گئی ہے۔ پچھلی مثال اور اس مثال میں فرق یہ ہے کہ پچھلی مثال ان منافقین کے بارے میں تھی جو اسلام کے حق ہونے کو اچھی طرح سمجھتے تھے، مگر اپنی ضد اور عناد کی وجہ سے ایمان نہیں لاتے تھے۔
جبکہ اس مثال میں ان منافقین کا ذکر ہے جو اسلام لانے میں تذبذب کا شکار تھے۔
انہی کے بارے میں اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب اسلام کی حقانیت کے دلائل ان کے سامنے بیان کیے جاتے ہیں تو وہ ایمان کی طرف مائل ہو جاتے ہیں، لیکن جب قرآن کے سخت احکام سنتے ہیں، حلال و حرام کی آیات سنتے ہیں، اور کفر و شرک پر آنے والی وعیدوں کو سنتے ہیں تو خوف کے مارے اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں ٹھونس لیتے ہیں۔
وہ اپنے کان بند کر کے یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ وہ اللہ کے عذاب سے محفوظ ہو جائیں گے۔
لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ ہر طرف سے کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے، اور وہ کبھی بھی اللہ کے عذاب سے بچ نہیں سکتے۔

📌 English (Translation + Tafseer)
Translation:
Or (their example is) like a rainstorm from the sky in which there is darkness, thunder, and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears because of the thunderclaps, fearing death. And Allah is encompassing the disbelievers.
Tafseer:
In this verse, another example of the hypocrites is given.
The difference between this example and the previous one is that the previous example referred to those hypocrites who clearly understood the truth of Islam but still did not accept faith due to their stubbornness and enmity.
However, this example refers to those hypocrites who were in a state of doubt and hesitation regarding accepting Islam.
Allah says that when the proofs of Islam are presented to them, they incline towards faith. But when they hear the strict commands of the Quran, the rulings of halal and haram, and the warnings against disbelief and shirk, they become fearful.
Out of fear, they metaphorically put their fingers into their ears, trying to avoid hearing the truth.
They think that by doing so, they can save themselves from Allah’s punishment.
But Allah declares that He encompasses the disbelievers from all sides, and they can never escape His punishment.
