ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَـٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ
Urdu Translation
وہ لوگ جو اللہ کے عہد کو مضبوط کرنے کے بعد توڑ دیتے ہیں، اور اُن رشتوں کو کاٹتے ہیں جنہیں اللہ نے جوڑنے کا حکم دیا ہے، اور زمین میں فساد پھیلاتے ہیں، یہی لوگ نقصان اٹھانے والے ہیں۔
English Translation
Those who break Allah’s covenant after accepting it, cut the relations which Allah has commanded to maintain, and spread corruption on the earth — they are the real losers.
تفسیر
سورۃ البقرہ کی آیت نمبر 27 میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے منافقین کی تین بڑی صفات بیان فرمائی ہیں۔
پہلی صفت یہ ہے کہ وہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے کیے ہوئے عہد کو توڑ دیتے ہیں۔
دوسری صفت یہ ہے کہ وہ ان رشتوں اور تعلقات کو کاٹ دیتے ہیں جنہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے جوڑنے کا حکم دیا ہے۔
اور تیسری صفت یہ ہے کہ وہ زمین میں فساد پھیلاتے ہیں۔
عہد کی تفسیر پہلے بیان ہو چکی ہے، جبکہ دوسری صفت کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے مختلف رشتہ داروں جیسے ماں باپ، بہن بھائی، اور میاں بیوی کے حقوق مقرر فرمائے ہیں، مگر منافقین ان حقوق کو ادا نہیں کرتے۔
یہ بات یاد رکھنی چاہیے کہ ایک پاکیزہ اور پُرامن معاشرہ انہی حقوق کی ادائیگی سے قائم ہوتا ہے۔ جب رشتوں کے حقوق پورے نہ کیے جائیں تو نتیجہ فساد، نفرت اور بے سکونی کی صورت میں نکلتا ہے۔
اسی لیے قرآنِ مجید میں رشتوں کو توڑنے اور زمین میں فساد پھیلانے سے سختی کے ساتھ منع کیا گیا ہے۔
Tafseer
In Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat 27, Allah Almighty describes three major characteristics of the hypocrites.
The first characteristic is that they break the covenant made with Allah.
The second is that they cut off the relationships which Allah has commanded to maintain.
The third is that they spread corruption on the earth.
The explanation of the covenant has already been discussed earlier. The meaning of the second characteristic is that Allah has assigned rights to relatives such as parents, siblings, and husband and wife, but hypocrites fail to fulfill these rights.
A peaceful and pure society is built upon fulfilling these mutual rights. When people ignore these responsibilities, the result is corruption and disorder in society. Therefore, the Holy Quran strongly forbids breaking family ties and spreading corruption on earth.

Conclusion | خلاصہ
اس آیت میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے منافقین کی صفات بیان فرمائی ہیں کہ وہ اللہ کے عہد کو توڑتے، رشتوں کو کاٹتے اور زمین میں فساد پھیلاتے ہیں۔ ہمیں چاہیے کہ ہم رشتوں کے حقوق ادا کریں اور معاشرے میں بھلائی اور امن کو فروغ دیں۔
In this verse, Allah describes the characteristics of hypocrites who break Allah’s covenant, cut family ties, and spread corruption on earth. Muslims should fulfill the rights of relationships and promote peace and goodness in society.
