الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
Translation
وہ لوگ جو بن دیکھے چیزوں پر ایمان لاتے ہیں، نماز قائم کرتے ہیں، اور جو کچھ ہم نے انہیں دیا ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرتے ہیں۔
Those who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend from what We have provided them.
In the previous verse, Allah mentioned that the Quran is a guidance for the righteous (Muttaqeen). In these verses, Allah describes some key qualities of the Muttaqeen.
اس سے پہلے والی آیت میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا کہ یہ قرآن متقین کے لیے ہدایت ہے۔ اب ان آیات میں اللہ تعالیٰ متقین کی چند اہم صفات بیان فرما رہے ہیں۔
Quality 1:
The Muttaqeen are those who believe in the unseen (Ghaib). This includes all matters of faith, meaning they have complete belief in everything Allah has mentioned in the Quran and everything the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ has informed us about.
صفت نمبر 1:
متقین وہ لوگ ہیں جو غیب یعنی بن دیکھی چیزوں پر ایمان لاتے ہیں۔ اس میں تمام ایمانیات شامل ہو جاتے ہیں، یعنی جو کچھ اللہ تعالیٰ نے قرآن مجید میں فرمایا ہے اور جو کچھ نبی کریم ﷺ نے خبر دی ہے، ان سب پر وہ مکمل ایمان رکھتے ہیں۔
Quality 2:
They establish prayer (Salah), which is the most important physical act of worship. That is why on the Day of Judgment, the first accountability after faith will be about prayer.
صفت نمبر 2:
وہ نماز قائم کرتے ہیں، جو بدنی عبادات میں سب سے افضل عبادت ہے۔ اسی لیے قیامت کے دن ایمان کے بعد سب سے پہلا سوال نماز کے بارے میں ہوگا۔
They spend from what Allah has provided them in His path. This refers to Zakat and charity, which are financial acts of worship. Zakat is the most important financial obligation, which is why in the Quran it is often mentioned together with prayer.
صفت نمبر 3:
جو کچھ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں دیا ہے، اس میں سے اللہ کے راستے میں خرچ کرتے ہیں۔ اس سے مراد زکوٰۃ اور صدقات ہیں جو مالی عبادات میں سے ہیں۔ زکوٰۃ تمام مالی عبادات میں سب سے اہم عبادت ہے، اسی وجہ سے قرآن مجید میں اکثر جگہوں پر نماز اور زکوٰۃ کو ایک ساتھ بیان کیا گیا ہے۔
