سورۃ البقرہ آیت 49
عربی:
وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُم مِّنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَاءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ
سورۃ البقرہ آیت 50
عربی:
وَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ الْبَحْرَ فَأَنجَيْنَاكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ
ترجمہ و تفسیر | Translation & Tafsir
آیت 49
ترجمہ:
اور جب ہم نے تمہیں آلِ فرعون سے نجات دی، جو تمہیں سخت عذاب دیتے تھے، تمہارے بیٹوں کو ذبح کرتے تھے اور تمہاری عورتوں کو زندہ چھوڑ دیتے تھے، اور اس میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہاری بڑی آزمائش تھی۔
English Translation:
And when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who subjected you to severe torment, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women. In that was a great trial from your Lord.
تفسیر (Urdu)
پچھلی آیات میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے بنی اسرائیل کو اپنی نعمتیں یاد دلائیں۔ ان نعمتوں میں سے ایک بڑی نعمت یہ تھی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں آلِ فرعون کے ظلم و ستم سے نجات عطا فرمائی۔
فرعون مصر کے بادشاہوں کا لقب تھا۔ حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے زمانے کا فرعون نہایت ظالم اور سرکش تھا۔ اس نے خواب دیکھا کہ بنی اسرائیل کی طرف سے ایک آگ نکلی جس نے مصریوں کے گھروں کو جلا دیا جبکہ بنی اسرائیل محفوظ رہے۔ نجومیوں نے تعبیر بتائی کہ بنی اسرائیل میں ایک نبی پیدا ہوگا جو اس کی حکومت کے خاتمے کا سبب بنے گا۔
اس خوف سے فرعون نے حکم دیا کہ بنی اسرائیل میں پیدا ہونے والے تمام لڑکوں کو قتل کر دیا جائے جبکہ لڑکیوں کو زندہ چھوڑ دیا جائے۔ اس طرح وہ بنی اسرائیل پر شدید ظلم کرتا رہا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ یہ بنی اسرائیل کے لیے ایک بہت بڑی آزمائش تھی۔
Tafsir (English)
In the previous verses, Allah reminded the Children of Israel of His countless blessings. One of the greatest blessings was their deliverance from the tyranny of Pharaoh.
Pharaoh was the title used for the rulers of Egypt. The Pharaoh during the time of Prophet Musa (Moses) عليه السلام was extremely oppressive. After seeing a troubling dream, his fortune tellers informed him that a prophet would arise from among the Children of Israel and eventually end his rule.
Out of fear, Pharaoh ordered that every newborn male child from Bani Israel be killed, while females were spared. This cruel policy caused immense suffering. Allah reminds Bani Israel that this hardship was a great test from their Lord.
آیت 50
ترجمہ:
اور جب ہم نے تمہاری خاطر سمندر کو پھاڑ دیا، پھر تمہیں نجات دی اور آلِ فرعون کو تمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے غرق کر دیا۔
English Translation:
And when We parted the sea for you, saved you, and drowned Pharaoh and his people while you were watching.
تفسیر (Urdu)
اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم سے حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام بنی اسرائیل کو مصر سے نکال کر شام کی طرف لے گئے تاکہ وہ آزادی کے ساتھ زندگی گزار سکیں۔ جب فرعون کو اس بات کا علم ہوا تو وہ اپنے لشکر کے ساتھ ان کے پیچھے روانہ ہوا۔
بنی اسرائیل سمندر کے کنارے پہنچ گئے جبکہ پیچھے سے فرعون کا لشکر آ پہنچا۔ اس موقع پر حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے اپنی قوم کو تسلی دی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی مدد فرمائے گا۔
اللہ کے حکم سے حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے اپنا عصا سمندر پر مارا تو سمندر میں راستے بن گئے اور پانی پہاڑوں کی مانند کھڑا ہو گیا۔ بنی اسرائیل بحفاظت گزر گئے۔ جب فرعون اور اس کا لشکر انہی راستوں میں داخل ہوا تو اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم سے پانی دوبارہ مل گیا اور پورا لشکر غرق ہو گیا۔ بنی اسرائیل یہ منظر اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھ رہے تھے۔
Tafsir (English)
By Allah’s command, Prophet Musa (AS) led the Children of Israel out of Egypt toward a land where they could live freely. When Pharaoh learned of their departure, he pursued them with a powerful army.
As Bani Israel reached the sea, Pharaoh’s forces approached from behind. At that critical moment, Musa (AS) reassured his people that Allah would guide and protect them.
Allah commanded Musa (AS) to strike the sea with his staff. The sea split into pathways, and the water stood like towering walls. The Children of Israel crossed safely. When Pharaoh and his army entered the same paths, the waters returned to their normal state by Allah’s command, drowning Pharaoh and his entire army. Bani Israel witnessed this miraculous event with their own eyes.
Lesson for Us
These verses teach us that Allah always supports the believers, even in the most difficult situations. Oppression may seem powerful for a time, but Allah’s help comes at the perfect moment. Patience, trust in Allah, and obedience to His commands are the keys to success and salvation.
