Complete Namaz Method Namaz is the second pillar of Islam and the most important act of worship after faith. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Pray as you have seen me praying.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)
This article explains the complete method of Wudu, Salah, Witr, Taraweeh, Eid Prayer, and Janazah Prayer in the light of authentic Hadith.
نماز اسلام کا دوسرا رکن اور ایمان کے بعد سب سے اہم عبادت ہے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
“نماز اسی طرح پڑھو جس طرح مجھے نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھتے ہو۔” (صحیح بخاری)
اس مضمون میں وضو، نماز، وتر، تراویح، نمازِ عیدین اور نمازِ جنازہ کا مکمل طریقہ صحیح احادیث کی روشنی میں بیان کیا گیا ہے۔
Virtues of Wudu | وضو کی فضیلت
Hadith | حدیث
حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
“جو شخص اچھی طرح وضو کرتا ہے اس کے گناہ جسم سے نکل جاتے ہیں یہاں تک کہ ناخنوں کے نیچے سے بھی نکل جاتے ہیں۔” (صحیح مسلم)
Translation
Hazrat Uthman (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“When a person performs Wudu properly, his sins leave his body, even from beneath his fingernails.” (Sahih Muslim)
Dua Before Wudu | وضو سے پہلے کی دعا
Arabic
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
English
In the name of Allah, and all praise belongs to Allah.
Urdu
اللہ کے نام سے شروع کرتا ہوں اور تمام تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں۔
Sunnah Method of Wudu | وضو کا سنت طریقہ
- Wash both hands three times.
- Rinse the mouth three times.
- Clean the nose three times.
- Wash the face three times.
- Wash both arms up to the elbows three times.
- Wipe the head.
- Wipe the ears.
- Wash both feet three times.
اردو
- دونوں ہاتھ تین مرتبہ دھوئیں۔
- تین مرتبہ کلی کریں۔
- تین مرتبہ ناک میں پانی ڈالیں۔
- چہرہ تین مرتبہ دھوئیں۔
- دونوں ہاتھ کہنیوں سمیت تین مرتبہ دھوئیں۔
- سر کا مسح کریں۔
- کانوں کا مسح کریں۔
- دونوں پاؤں تین مرتبہ دھوئیں۔

Complete Namaz Method
Raise both hands up to the ears and say:
الله أكبر
اردو
دونوں ہاتھ کانوں تک اٹھا کر اللہ اکبر کہیں۔
Placing Hands | ہاتھ باندھنا
Place the right hand over the left hand below the navel.
اردو
دایاں ہاتھ بائیں ہاتھ پر ناف کے نیچے رکھیں۔
Sana | ثناء
سُبْحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَىٰ جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلٰهَ غَيْرُكَ
English
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. Blessed is Your Name, Exalted is Your Majesty, and there is none worthy of worship except You.
Recitation in Salah | نماز میں قراءت
For Imam and Individual | امام اور منفرد
Surah Al-Fatihah is obligatory for the Imam and a person praying alone.
اردو
امام اور اکیلے نماز پڑھنے والے کے لیے سورۂ فاتحہ پڑھنا ضروری ہے۔
Ruku | رکوع
Tasbeeh
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ
English: Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great.
Urdu: میرا رب عظمت والا پاک ہے۔
Sujood | سجدہ
Tasbeeh
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى
English: Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.
Urdu: میرا رب سب سے بلند پاک ہے۔
Tashahhud | التحیات
التحيات لله والصلوات والطيبات…
(مکمل التحیات یہاں شامل کریں)
Durood Ibrahim | درودِ ابراہیمی
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى آل محمد…
(مکمل درودِ ابراہیمی یہاں شامل کریں)
Witr Prayer | نمازِ وتر
وتر تین رکعت واجب نماز ہے۔
English: Witr is a three-rak‘ah obligatory prayer according to the Hanafi school.
Taraweeh Prayer | نمازِ تراویح
اہل سنت والجماعت کے نزدیک تراویح رمضان المبارک کی مخصوص عبادت ہے۔
English: Taraweeh is a special prayer performed during the month of Ramadan.
Eid Prayer | نمازِ عیدین
نمازِ عید دو رکعت ہے جس میں زائد تکبیریں کہی جاتی ہیں۔
English: Eid prayer consists of two Rak‘ahs with additional Takbeerat.
Janazah Prayer | نمازِ جنازہ
نمازِ جنازہ چار تکبیروں کے ساتھ ادا کی جاتی ہے۔
English: Janazah prayer is performed with four Takbeerat.
